School Information

We are a growing school and currently have three forms of entry in YR, Y1, Y2 and Y4, two forms of entry in Y5 to Y6 with Y3 having four forms. Currently we have 600 children on roll and our published admission numbers (PAN) are to admit 90 children each year as we will eventually be a three form entry school.

The children in the three YR classes work together through our continuous provision in purposely designed classrooms and cloakrooms with an extensive outdoor space.

Throughout the rest of the school, the children are organised into two/three classes per year group.  Classes usually have 30 pupils in them with a class teacher.  In YR, each class also had a steaching assistant.  Other teaching asssistants and personal support assistants are deployed from Y1 to Y6 depending on need to support and challenge children to ensure their potential is realised.

In addition to this, our Music Coach, Sports Coach, Spanish (MFL) Teacher and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) ensure that specialised teaching and learning happens when the class teachers are planning, preparing and assessing (PPA time).
