Stamford Green Primary School – Nursery Opening in 2017

Update: Applications received after the deadline of 23 June 2017 will be considered on a first come, first served basis.  Applications for two year olds who do not receive FEET funding may also be considered after this date.

Welcome to an exciting new adventure where we will be extending the learning journey for children at Stamford Green Primary School.

Our Nursery is being created using the same ethos as the rest of the school, which is encapsulated by our school motto 'Working together to be the best we can' and brought to life through our seven commitments to your child: Inspiring ~ Happiness ~ Values ~ Achieving ~ Ambition ~ Learning ~ Togetherness.  Please click here to read more about our commitments.

Two qualified and extremely experienced nursery teachers have been employed and have already started work in order to prepare everything for September. Mrs Vanessa Frost and Mrs Amanda Hughes have worked together, as a job share in a school based nursery, for over eight years and are really looking forward to starting up our nursery.

Over the summer, various building works will be carried out to ensure that the nursery is ready. The projects range from a remodelling the South and East Gate entrance to building a mud kitchen for the children to use!

We have already planned a series of welcome events, to ensure a smooth transition for not only your child but also to ensure that you, as parents, feel a part of our wonderful community and know what is going on. Once a place has been confirmed the details of these events will be sent out to you.
