Headteacher's Letter
On behalf of all the staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Stamford Green Primary School’s website.
At Stamford Green Primary we work hard to make our school a safe, caring and child-centred environment for your children to flourish and reach their full potential. Our School is also well known locally for its warm and friendly atmosphere and its wonderful school grounds. We feel this combination of characteristics makes our school a very special place.
We treat all children as individuals and hope that, through praise and encouraging them to be involved in their learning, each child will be able to succeed fully in the years they are with us and be prepared for whatever lies in the future. This is best expressed in our vision statement: ’Doing the best we can to become the best we can’. Our Ofsted report in 2006 recognized our accomplishments towards this vision as, “Pupils’ outstanding spirituality shows in the thrill they have in learning and their pride in their individual talents”.
Your child’s talents and achievements are always celebrated by the whole school community and shared with you at every opportunity. The partnership between home and school is a vital one and we appreciate parents and carers working together with us to develop the aspirations of all in our community.
